How to Play - Alt History

Objective:

Your goal is to spread your version of history and gain influence by manipulating public perception, media, and government power. Use upgrades strategically to enhance your reach, suppress opposition, and control the narrative.

Gameplay Mechanics:

1. Collect Coins 💰

• Coins will drop from the top of the screen at intervals.

• Click on them within 5 seconds to collect them.

• Coins are used to purchase upgrades.

2. Purchase Upgrades

• Click on the UPGRADES button to open the upgrade panel.

• Choose from three categories:

  • Spreading Power 🗣️ (Boost credibility and belief in your conspiracy)

  • Media Control 📺 (Increase exposure through news and social media)

  • Government Resistance 🏛️ (Prevent authorities from shutting you down)

• Each upgrade costs coins and provides benefits like increased Believability, Exposure, or Influence.

3. Influence the World

• As you buy upgrades, your conspiracy spreads across different countries.

• Some upgrades will make your theory more convincing, while others will ensure it reaches more people.

• Keep an eye on Believability, Exposure, and Influence at the bottom of the screen.

• People start consuming misinformation from all the media print, satellite, and socials. In fact that is the main cause for this spreading and you need to use it wisely

4. Avoid Getting Shut Down!

• The government and fact-checkers may try to debunk your conspiracy.

• Invest in Government Resistance upgrades to prevent losing progress.

• Expand your conspiracy to dominate global perception.

• Upgrade strategically to ensure maximum spread before opposition shuts you down.

• Keep rewriting history until the world believes your version of the truth!
