3D scene of Dwaraka - Indian History

The inspiration for my scene, Sunken Dwaraka: Echoes of a Lost Civilization, comes from the mythological tales of the ancient city of Dwaraka—believed to have been a divine kingdom of Lord Krishna that eventually sank beneath the sea. The imagery of an entire city swallowed by the ocean yet brimming with remnants of once-glorious architecture deeply resonated with me. I envisioned a world both serene and eerie, where broken idols, moss-covered pillars, and crumbled courtyards whisper the memory of a forgotten empire.
From the start, I knew this was more than just an environment—it needed to feel alive, mystical, and ancient. Buu AI proved to be an invaluable part of my creative workflow. Its generative tools allowed me to rapidly prototype, iterate, and polish complex 3D elements that would’ve taken much longer with traditional modeling. I generated over 75% of the scene assets—including stone walls, weathered statues, broken temple structures, underwater flora, and debris—all using Buu AI’s stylized and fantasy-themed options.
One of the most rewarding aspects was using Buu AI to define modular stone blocks and uniquely broken structures that organically fit into the environment. Whether it was the towering Trident Shrine or the Sacred Well, each area was crafted with a narrative purpose, and Buu AI gave me the flexibility to align the artistic style across the entire world.
The process felt intuitive: I structured my scene area by area, generating 10+ variations of environmental assets, testing them inside Godot, and layering them into a fully traversable underwater landscape. The simplicity of including a character controller let me focus purely on artistic storytelling. I was able to shape a world—not just visually—but atmospherically, giving players the sensation of swimming through history.
